Ichor Systems Acquired By Private Equity Firm

Tualatin, Oregon-basd Ichor Systems, a designer and manufacturer of process tools and gas and chemical delivery modules for capital equipment manufacturers, has been acquired by private equity firm Francisco Partners. Financial terms of the buy were not announced. Ichor Systems was founded in 1999, and served the semiconductors, LEDs (light emitting diode), data storage and alternative energy capital equipment. Ichor is headed by David Shimmon.
