RealWear Raises $80M In Series B Funding
Vancouver, Washington-based RealWear, a developer of helmet-mounted, wearable Android computers, has raised $80M in a Series B financing round, which included both equity and debt, and came from JPMorgan Chase & Co., Teradyne, Bose Ventures, Qualcomm Ventures LLC (QCOM), Kopin Corporation (KOPN), and investors from JPMorgan's (JPM) Private Bank. RealWear develops a wearable, Android computer that include an eye-mounted projection display with voice control. The company sells its wearables into the industrial market.
