F5 Names Marketing Head

Seattle-based network traffic shaping appliance maker F5 said late Thursday afternoon that it has named Ben Gibson as the company's new Chief Marketing Officer and Executive Vice President. Gibson was previously Chief Marketing Officer at Veritas, and also served at Aruba Networks, Cisco Systems, Meru Networks, and Proxim Corporation.
