EveryMove Acquired By Higi

Seattle-based EveryMove, the consumer health improvement technology and software developer led by Russell Benaroya and which was co-founded by Marcelo Calbucci, has been acquird by Chicago-based Higi, the two companies announced on Wednesday. Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed. Higi is a developer of self-service, health screening stations which are located at drugstores, grocery stores, and other retail locations. The acquisition of EveryMove came in conjunction with a Series B investment in Higi, which came from BlueCross BlueShield Venture Partners. No terms of that funding were announced by Higi. Higi and EveryMove did not say how the acquisition will affect EveryMove's operations in Seattle.
