Dashwire Acquired By HTC

Bellevue-based Dashwire, the provider of mobile web applications, is being acquired by phone maker HTC, HTC said Friday. HTC said it would pay $18.5M for Dashwire, making Dashwire a wholly owned subsidiary of the firm. Dashwire was founded by Ford Davidson, and was venture backed by Trilogy Equity Partners, Voyager Capital, and Best Buy. The firm was founded in 2006.
