Apptio Names Execs

Seattle-based Apptio, the developer of cloud-based, business management software led by Sunny Gupta, has named two new executives this morning. Apptio said it has named Barbara Gordon as Chief Customer Officer, and promoted Larry Blasko to Chief Revenue Officer. Gordon has previously served as Chief Operations Officer for Isilon/EMC, and also was at Microsoft. Apptio said Gordon has 25 years leading sales organizations. Blasko has been at Apptio since 2009, serving as Vice President of Sales; he previously had served at HP Software and Opsware, along with Veritas Software. Apptio is venture backed by Andreessen Horowitz, Cisco Corp., Greylock Partners, Janus Capital, Madrona Venture Group Shasta Ventures, and T. Rowe Price.
