Amazon Sets CFO Transition Plan
Seattle's Amazon.com announced this morning that it has figured out transition plans for its CFO, who is planning on retiring next June. According to Amazon.com, Thomas J. Szkutak, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, is planning on retiring in June 15th, with Brian T. Olsavsky, Vice President of Finance, taking over for Szkutak. Szkutak has been CFO of Amazon.com since October of 2002. Olsavsky has been at Amazon.com since 2002, whe he joined as VP of Finance. He also has served at Fisher Scientific International.
