9Slides Buys Now Meeting

Seattle's 9Slides, a developer of online presentation software, has acquired fellow Seattle company Now Meeting, the two said today. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. 9Slides says it will incorporate Now Meeting's mobile app into its summer 2014 release. Now Meeting founder and CEO, Shane Jones, become President at 9Slides, reporting to CEO Ruchit Garg. 9Slides develops software used to with presentations and training; NOw Meeting's software is aimed at the enterprise, allowing employees and teams to communicate via video, audio, and text messaging.
