TigerText Links With Mobile Device Security Firm
Santa Monica-based healthcare messaging provider TigerText has linked up with a provider of mobile security, AirWatch, the firms said this week. According to the companies, the move will allow healthcare customers to secure both their mobile platforms and their text and email communications. Financial arrangements between the companies were not announced. The two said their combined solutions has been chosen by the Community Hospice of Texas. Both companies provide software for ensuring HIPAA compliance of healthcare providers; TigerText's secure messaging services let hospitals, doctors, and others send text messages without violating those strict HIPAA laws.
