Ten-X, Formerly, Acquired By Thomas H. Lee

Irvine-based Ten-X, the operator of online real estate marketplace and other sites, has been acquired by private equity investor Thomas H. Lee Partners, the two said this morning. Financial details of the buy were not announced by the companies. Ten-X said that its prior backers, Stone Point Capital, and Capital G (formerly Google Capital), as well as members of its senior management team, will continue to hold minority stakes in the company. Ten-X's online marketplaces let individuals and investors to buy and sell residential and commercial real-estate properties. Ten-X changed its name from in 2016, as part of a rebranding of the company.
