Sugarfina Raises $35M In Private Equity Funding

Los Angeles-based upscale, luxury confections brand Sugarfina announced on Thursday morning that it has raised $35M in a growth equity funding, from private equity investor Great Hill Partners. According to Sugarfina, the new funding will go towards further developing its e-commerce and mobile platforms, as well as international expansion. Sugarfina has now raised more than $50M in funding. As part of the funding, Sugarfina said that Great Hill's Michael Kumin and Peter Garran have both joined its board.
