Selectable Media Expands To LA
Selectable Media, a digital advertising firm which lets users unlock digital content in exchange for interacting with brand advertising, said today that it has expanded to Los Angeles, as part of a growth in its footprint. The expansion came alongside the opening of a new office in Chicago

DogVacay Tallies Up Doggie Sleepovers
DogVacay, the online, peer-to-peer marketplace which connects dog owners with other owners and dog sitters, has tallied up the number of nights over the last year, and says that there were over 80,000 nights of stays driven through the site since the startup opened its doors. The startup--led by Aaron Hirschhorn--also said that it has grown to 24 employees, up from only 5 when the company started exactly a year ago.

LaunchpadLA Adds Gobbler's Kantrowitz To Team
Launchpad LA, the startup accelerator based in Santa Monica, is bolstering its team today, saying it has added Jamie Kantrowitz as an additional partner at the accelerator. Katrowitz was previously co-founder at Gobbler, and also served as VP of Marketing at MySpace. LaunchpadLA is managed by Sam Teller, and has incubated and mentored dozens of local startups. Interlink Electronics Links With UCSB
Camarillo-based Interlink Electronics, which develops force sensing, position sensor, and other electronics for the interface market, said today that it has linked with the University of California, Santa Barbara. Interlink said the deal includes research collaboration, technology licensing, and access to UCSB's R&D facilities, via the UCSB Corporate Affiliates Program. Emulex Acquisition of Endance Advances
Costa Mesa-based Emulex reported Tuesday that it now owned 89 percent of Endance Limited, the developer of network performance management and monitoring appliances it said it would acquire in December. According to Emulex, that gives it control of the firm; Emulex said that it is likely that Endance will shortly be de-listed from trading on the London Stock Exchange AIM. THQ Sets Sale Of Remaining Games
Agoura Hills-based videogame maker THQ--or at least, what's left of THQ--released the details of how it plans to sell its remaining intellectual property late Tuesday, saying it expects to complete the bidding and sale of the properties by mid-May. olloclip Adds iPod Touch Lens Adapter
Olloclip, the developer of the clip-on lenses fo rthe iPhone and iPod, said today that it has launched a new product supporting 5th generation iPod touch devices. Olloclip's lenses add a fisheye, wide-angle, and macro lens in a single accessory for the iPod touch. Anametrix, the developer of marketing analytics software based in San Diego, and started by the team behind WebSideStory, said today that it has released its mobile app for iOS, Android, and BlackBerry.
