![]() Thursday, February 4, 2010 Smarsh Partners With Electronic Discovery Firm Portland-based Smarsh, a developer of email archiving and compliance products, has partnered with Catalyst Repository Systems, a provider of document repositories for the electronic discovery market, Catalyst said today. Catalyst said that Smarsh users can now export their email archives directly into the firm's own document review and processing system, with its own users also getting access to Smarsh's email archiving and compliance system. The NYTimes reports that Amazon.com has acquired New York-based Touchco, which is commercializing flexible touch screen technology developed at New York University. Apparently, Touchco is slated to become part of Amazon's Kindle hardware division. Ontier said the deal will allow members of the AASA to add voice, screen recordings, and videos to email and electronic documents. Financial impact of the win was not disclosed. Mentor Graphics said that ASIA has deployed its CHS software, to automate data transcription and engineering of wire harnesses at ASIA.
