Gaikai Get $30M For Cloud Gaming

Los Angeles-based Gaikai announced Wednesday that it has raised $30M in a Series C funding round. The round was led by New Enterprise Associates, and also included Qualcomm, Benchmark Capital, Rustic Canyon, and Intel Capital. Gaikai is developing a cloud-based, game streaming service which allows users to play games without having to install software. The firm is headed by David Perry. Gaikai said the new funding will go towards accelerating growth and adoption of its products. More information »
